Leopard wellies

Something about Leopard wellies.....makes you feel carefree and young again!.....definitely made the school run more fun lol. So much so that I almost forgot I had to go to work :(

These ones were only £11 from the ASOS sale I browsed two weeks ago and I love them <3

I had to carry my Cambridge satchel in flouro pink to help brighten up my day (It's such an uplifting colour to me) :-D
I managed to find it in the Harrods sale in January for £65 I think.....and took it to the flagship store in Covent Garden to have it embossed with my name on it (not Princess unfortunately lol). All in all it cost me just over £90 which is amazing!

Sometimes it's nice to just say to yourself "screw it" and just wear whatever the heck you like! Bold and bright....I love it, and that's all that matters :-)

Do you have anything bold or daring in your wardrobe?? Let me know! x

Spring.....where are you??!!!

Ok, so maybe a week and a half ago, it seemed as though Spring was finally making its way here. I was able to go out with a small scarf and my leather jacket. However over the past few days, it seems like Spring hasn't actually 'sprung' and it was just teasing us!

Grey, rainy days are starting to take their toll on me and now I am desperate for some sun!
As you can see from the picture below I tried to smile.......but I couldn't hide the fact I was actually 'dying' inside :-(  lol

For the school run, I like to keep it simple with my primark coat, and my oversized H&M scarf which I looove <3   And I couldn't resist wearing my new leopard wellies from ASOS-makes me feel like a big kid!

Coat £25 Primark  Jeans £5.90 Primark  Wellies £11 ASOS  Umbrella £2 Primark
                                                                    Scarf £5 H&M

It looks like the handwarmers I managed to find in Primark are still going to come in handy for a while. They are sooooo cute! Can you believe they were only 20p each??!
And my iphone case was £1, also from Primark

Anywaaaaaay hopefully it wont be long before I find some sun.....because I'm going to BARCELONA!!!!  :-D :-D

Yes! instead of going to work...next week I will be jetting off with a friend of mine for a few days!

I am such a salsa freak-love it soooo much! and I have really gotten into Cuban salsa music because of it.
So when I saw on facebook that one of my favourite Cuban artists (Maykel Blanco) was gonna be there.....I just booked the tickets!
Don't you just love Easyjet? It cost me less than £92 for two return tickets! which is amazing-but it also makes me want to book random flights (which I do!) and that is NOT good for my bank balance lol.

I have so much to organise still-hotel, coach tickets, and most importantly.....WHAT TO WEAR!!  It is actually not fun trying to figure that one out lol

All I know is.....I will be wearing a lot of bright colours!

25% off H&M code......what to buy??

Sooo, I received a 25% off code to use in H&M, but it only applies to the online website (!)
Upon receiving the email I immediately thought of the blush pink blazer I tried on a couple of weeks ago.....Now I think I'm gonna need it! I already own a black blazer from H&M that I have owned for maybe (no definitely) 5 years and it has been a great purchase, I have worn it to death!

It works casually, formally for interviews, nights out, funerals........basically everything! Truly a great investment piece. So now I'm thinking the Pink one will be a great one to own-especially as Spring is almost upon us.

It is only £24.99...so the voucher will bring it in at just under £20!....that is reason enough for me ;-)

As soon as I put it on in the changing room I didn't really want to take it off! and I spent ages wearing it....I just love the slightly puffy shoulders, they add a feminine touch and help to make it less formal  <3

So, yeah....I think I'm gonna go for it!....but I really need to give away some of my old jackets now.

H&M are still running the promotion which encourages you to bring in a bag of your old clothes.....any clothes! and in return they give you a £5 off voucher-but you have to spend £30 to redeem.

Basically its a vicious fashion-feeding cycle in my opinion! X

What I wore on the weekend-6/8 March

Blouse 5.99 euros Pull And Bear  Black skinny jeans £5.90 Primark  PU jacket £10 Primark
Silver brogues £19.99 New Look  'H' belt with gold hardware £295 Hermes  Silver tone Chanel name bracelet £135 Chanel Bond Street  Monogram bag MM £325 Louis Vuitton

So yesterday (Sunday) I decided to finally wear this pearl and crystal statement piece-I can't believe I had it for maybe 2 years and had never worn it! I couldn't pass it up as both the detail and the price were amazing! however, I never really felt like wearing it to be honest, until now lol.
I thought that the jewellery and blouse really complimented each other. I had never stepped into a Pull And Bear store before, but as I was in Portugal and saw it in the mall I thought why not? I'm glad I did as I haven't managed to find a blouse like this anywhere else, the price was amazing, and the fact it says 'Love' all over it, well......I just LOVE it!

Since I have been feeling silver recently, I decided to wear my shiny silver brogues from New Look which are so comfortable and look more expensive than they cost in my opinion. Yesterday was not so bright in London-but those shoes really brightened up the day for me! <3

Leopard maxi skirt £14 Primark  PU jacket £17 Topshop (found on eBay)  Oversized black scarf £5 Front and back earrings £2.99 Knuckle ring £3.99 all  H&M  Pink studded cuff £2.50 New Look  Heart necklace £5.65 Forever 21  Gold and turquoise cuff £5 Rare London  Black suhali leather 'Le fabuleux' bag limited ed. Louis Vuitton

Friday was very mild and sunny here in London which made a nice change, so I decided to wear a maxi skirt which I haven't done for a while here in the UK. It has a veeeery bold leopard print and I love the soft pink tone which I think makes it less harsh than the normal brown leopard prints. The material is light and flowy, and at the same time not cheap-feeling.

It was one of those pieces you hold onto for ages in Primark wondering "should I or shouldn't I?" ....Obviously I decicded I should!  I wore it with my gold studded Topshop PU jacket that I found on eBay, and finished off with gold accessories. The studs on the jacket, bag and the cuff made this outfit edgy in the way I love <3

Saturday eye candy-Harrods & Selfridges

These are a few shots of designer pieces I have spotted out and about in the past few weeks. I absolutely LOVE the visual displays out there-especially the Christian Louboutin nail varnish stand at Shoe Heaven in Harrods (which is amazing!).

The python pieces I have seen have made me think I need to invest in one!. At the moment, Gucci and Prada python is out of my budget (lol) but the Michael Kors is Python embossed leather which makes it much more affordable at around £340, and the slight pink tone to the bag makes it a good piece to carry with many different outfits (yes I went back twice to see it!).....a potential birthday present maybe??  ;-)

The Lady Dior in Leopard is my cup of tea as I love anything in Leopard! I didn't dare ask how much it was though-a picture is all I can afford at the moment lol!

Studded Louis Vuitton always gets my vote-but the twice yearly price increases are putting me off more and more.

I have noticed that the YSL Tributes have also gone up in price, which makes me glad I got my pair last year for my birthday. Although they are still the most comfortable heels I know, so another pair is never out of the question :-p
And the Moschino bags in the shape of a jacket and cardigan are soooo cute I had to get a pic!

Zanotti sneakers, Louboutin anything and Valentino Rockstuds....I'm daydreaming right now!

See anything you like?? x

Saturday Silver

3 Animal bangles £1  Midi rings £1 Bones necklace £1 all H&M  Crystal studs £1.50 Primark  Long triple semi circle necklace £5.65  Forever 21

The beginning of March, and it seems as though Spring is finally making an appearance after a long winter! Also making a pleasant comeback is my love for silver pieces of jewellery <3  It's been a few years since I have felt confident in incorporating silver into my outfits as I have so many great gold pieces.

But on a shopping trip yesterday, I managed to find some great things from the H&M accesories sale and Primark. I am obsessed with elephants and the detail in the bangles is perfect for adding dimension to your outfit, and the vintage inspired studs are the perfect size for both day and night plus they sparkle beautifully.

At such great prices, it makes me want to explore and see what other silver trinkets I can pick up on the high street!

I teamed my jewellery with my grey marl sweater with the famous 'To be or not to be' monologue from Hamlet, which was £14 from Forever 21!

Where do you find great silver pieces? X
